Treoir has a wide and diverse membership base that includes specialist agencies, HSE, maternity hospitals, adoption services, community groups and self-help groups. Our membership is fundamental in shaping the work, policies and strategies of Treoir. In turn, we offer a wide range of supports and services to our members.

Members' Meetings
Meetings for members are held on a regular basis in the National Information Centre in Treoir. Usually a speaker gives a short input on a current issue (for example, Civil Partnership Bill, Adoption Bill, social welfare changes etc.) and members have the opportunity of discussing the intricacies of these issues. These meetings are free and take place at lunch-time or tea-time with light refreshments provided.
The meetings give members an opportunity to share their work experience and to discuss issues and service developments.
Membership Criteria
Membership is open to agencies which provide services to meet the needs of unmarried families and which subscribe to the aims and objectives of Treoir.

Honorary life membership
Honorary life members can be nominated by Council who, in the opinion of the Council of Treoir have done distinguished work furthering the objectives of Treoir.
